Zantedeschia aethiopica, also known as the Calla Lily, is an elegant herbaceous perennial native to South Africa. It thrives in Cyprus’ Mediterranean climate and is ideal for garden beds, borders, containers, or water garden areas. Its dark green leaves contrast beautifully with its striking white flowers, which may show a green or yellow tint, blooming from late spring to early summer. This plant prefers moist but well-draining soil and partial to full sun exposure. Though fairly tough, it needs moderate care, especially against pests and fungal infections.
